The Karkonosze National Park has been established in the Karkonosze Mountains, which guarantees proper protection of this extremely picturesque area. Vacation in the Giant Mountains? It's a great idea! Check what the Giant Mountains offer and which hotel in the mountains will meet all your expectations!

Giant Mountains - amazing views

There are mountains? There are views, that's clear! The Karkonosze Mountains and their relatively easily accessible peaks offer the possibility of admiring beautiful and vast views of both the Polish and the Czech side. It delights both animate and inanimate nature - lush vegetation and numerous rocks, waterfalls, streams and streams.

Of course, the most beautiful views can be seen from Śnieżka, the highest peak of the Karkonosze Mountains, which is one of the most characteristic and part of the Crown of Polish Mountains. You can climb Śnieżka on one of the four routes, and on the Czech side of the mountain - use a gondola or cable car, which significantly shortens the way to the top.

The second most popular peak of the Karkonosze Mountains is Szrenica. This mountain is visited in crowds in winter and summer, and quite easy to climb also for amateurs. From its top you can admire, among others interesting rock groups: Trzy świnki, Twarożnik and Końskie Łby.

On the other hand, on Krzyżowa Góra, also known as the Three Kings Mountain, there is a former vantage point. At the top of the mountain you will find rocks with the Cross of the Three Kings of Prussia. The granite structure dates back to 1874 and was founded by Frederick William III, King of Prussia.

Karkonosze - mountains for amateurs and professionals

The Krkonoše Mountains can be admired during hiking and cycling trips, taking advantage of routes of various difficulty levels. There are more than 1-2 trails leading to most of the Karkonosze mountains: black, red, yellow and green. We will even enter some of them along comfortable, compacted and relatively wide paths. Most of the most popular mountains in the Karkonosze Mountains also have shelters where you can rest, warm up or cool down (depending on the season), as well as eat tasty meals or find accommodation. Moreover, most of the peaks and their hills offer excellent conditions for skiing or snowboarding for several months of the year. The Karkonosze Mountains are not too high and not too low mountains, definitely just right for amateurs and professionals!

Sosnówka itself also has a lot to offer! The most famous monument of the village is the chapel of St. Anne on the Tomb, built on an unusual elliptical plan, dating from 1719. There are also two beautiful churches in Sosnówka: the baroque Church of St. Martin and the post-evangelical church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and Our Lady of Ostra Brama, built in the 1820s.
