Located near the village of Wieściszowice, in the Marciszów municipality, one of the 7 new wonders of Poland (according to National Geographic Traveler)
Colored Lakes – undoubtedly one of the most beautiful and interesting places in the Rudawy Landscape Park, and at the same time an example of how industry (in this case positively) influenced the landscape. The lakes were formed in the place of an old quarry where pyrite was extracted. Today you can admire the purple, emerald, green, and periodically – yellow lake. They are located at different heights, but can be easily explored during a leisurely walk.
