Schronisko "Kamieńczyk"

The private mountain hostel "Kamieńczyk" is located right by the picturesque Kamieńczyk waterfall, along the main trail to Szrenica.

You can reach the hostel via the red trail from Szklarska Poręba to Hala Szrenicka and the black trail, through Szklarska Poręba and then the red trail. The walking time ranges from 25 minutes to 1 hour.

The hostel has 19 accommodations, including 1- and 2-person rooms or studio types 2+2 and 4+2. Guests have access to a buffet with all-day meals and a cozy room with a fireplace. It’s an ideal place to relax during winter evenings spent in the mountains.

In addition, a large shelter with a fire pit and bar has been designated in front of the hostel, where outdoor events can be organized regardless of the weather.

"Kamieńczyk" is an excellent base for hiking trips along mountain trails, especially to the upper parts of the Karkonosze Mountains, for cycling trips, as well as for downhill and cross-country skiing.

There are many trails here, including the yellow trail "Szklarska Poręba – Śnieżne Kotły", the green trail "Szklarska Poręba – Wałbrzych", the blue trail "Szklarska Poręba – Pilchowice", the red trail "Polish-Czech Friendship Road", or the green trail "Rozdroże pod Kamieńczykiem – Ryzy" and many others.

Nearby tourist attractions include, of course, the famous Kamieńczyk waterfall, but not only that. Nearby you can also see the "Skałki Marianki", "Sokole Oko", or the peak "Wysoki Kamień" and "Szrenica".

While at the hostel "Kamieńczyk", it's worth visiting the nearby Jelenia Góra Energy Museum, the rope park "Trollandia", the KPN Ecological Education Center, or the Family Amusement Park "Alpine Coaster – Esplanada".
